Use the connection details for the server you intend to inspect and keep production work separate from exploratory work. DB Connect supports TLS options including certificate pinning, and credentials are stored in Keychain.
Browse before changing
Use the table and schema views to understand columns and records, then narrow a result with search, filters, and sorting. A native table browser is especially helpful for checking the effects of a migration or an import.
Keep SQL close to the work
The SQL console offers schema-aware suggestions, saved queries, and history. Save the queries that describe your team’s routine checks instead of reconstructing them from a terminal history every time.
Make edits reviewable
Stage row edits and inspect the SQL that will be applied. DB Connect can also create databases and manage users and privileges on supported PostgreSQL servers, but the review step is useful even for the small fixes.
